I would like to devote my today's review to a very interesting project, which was developed just for the users of the network. This project is called Blockshipping.
I think many of you have heard about this project at least once, as it has already managed to Express itself in different social resources. However, I would also like to share with you an overview of this Blockshipping. And help to understand what it is and what advantages it has. So there you go.
In contrast to what most people outside the shipping industry thinks about that there are no lapses suffered by the industry in terms of technological advancement, the truth remains that there are still several pot holes in the shipping industry that needs to be filled as a matter of urgency in order for the industry to match the status of how it is viewed from other non-shipping sectors. One of the major setbacks in terms of technology in the shipping industry is the fact that there’s currently no technology for shipping containers around the world to be technically tracked because there’s no central form of registry for containers within the industry. This brings the need for me to introduce you to Blockshipping’s Global Shared Container Platform (GSCP). Blockshipping is currently developing a platform that will solve the aforementioned problem by the application of blockchain technology. The platform is called “Global Shared Container Platform” which is an unprecedented platform meaning such a platform has never been in existence in the shipping industry. This is why Blockshipping has been having several supporters to ensure the success of this project. Private interested individuals, big industry players, as well as other stakeholders within the shipping industry are actively in support of this project owing to the fact that they strongly believe the success of this project considering the solutions it poses to solve in the global shipping industry.
The Global Shared Container Platform (GSCP) shall be integrated with a centralized database where container owners would register their containers around the world. This helps for better tracking, as well as being able to know if a container had previously been owned by someone else. The platform will be able to give an auditable trail of past histories of specified containers thereby making the industry a lot more professional and transparent. As we all know, a lack of real time tracking of containers usually results in large number of containers being moved from place to place thereby incurring payments and ultimately leading to change of ownerships in some cases which results in an increased carbon dioxide emission from containers ship exhaust expulsion. Well there’s good news to that, as the GSCP will drastically reduce global carbon dioxide emission by over 4.5 million tons per year because containers would no longer be moving around unnecessarily as there would be a central registry system where containers will be tracked in real-time. Also, with the application of modern day sensor technology, Blockshipping’s GSC platform shall make it possible for containers to be physically sensed before leaving a destination. The sensing will be done by a sensor medium through which containers will be taken through, the medium then senses details of the container. The details of the container gotten from the sensing process shall then be passed and recorded on the Global Shared Container Platform for everyone to have access to where necessary.
Blockshipping’s ICO & Token
In order to hasten the full execution and implementation of the Global shared Container platform which is already being developed, blockshipping has decided to perform an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) to gather more funds for faster project completion. Hence, blockshipping is presenting her two tokens for sales globally within the month of May, 2018. The two tokens are detailed as follows:
